David Mouland Haulage was founded in early 1995 by David Mouland himself with one 28ft rigid based vehicle, having served an extensive period of learning his trade working as a contract driver for other firms.

We offer a wide range of services to meet every type of need.
Our dedication to customer satisfaction and preparation of route planning is meticulous. We use a direct government backed scheme (ESDAL) to notify local authorities, constabularies, and councils within minutes of receiving an instruction. This allows us to identify any issues with proposed routes and illuminate potential problems.
Full route surveys can be carried out if required to advise of any access issues, Abnormal load escort vehicles will be sent to accompany loads when required.
Mouland Haulage has built long standing relationships to enable us to offer the same services throughout Europe, and carry a variety of French, Spanish & German Cat 1 / 2 Permits.

Our capabilities range from normal C&U 44 tonne consignments right u p to STGO CAT3 150 tonnes.

The business has invested heavily into compiling a versatile fleet of specialist equipment enabling us to diversify into different areas. We now operate a number of specialist enclosed machinery trailers that cater for the smaller conventional, electrical & gas powered types of self-propelled plant and access machinery, ranging from pallet trucks to 16.5 tonne access platforms. These trailers ensure that your machines will arrive at their destination in pristine condition, protected from the elements.

Due to our core business being specialising in the movement of Abnormal loads throughout Europe and the UK, we have been able to identify and develop certain key areas of our company to enhance the level of service we provide to our customers.
One of these key areas is the supply of our own Abnormal Load Escort Vehicles. We now utilise our fleet of vehicles on a daily basis, all of which are ‘Highways Agency Code of Practice Compliant’. This enables us to pass the benefits of saving transit time and reducing costs directly on to our customers.
